How did you end up at WEISS?
In 1995, when the job situation in the region was very bad, I took a 400 Euro job at WEISS. This mini-job quickly turned into a full-time job in a company that was much smaller at that time, but already very modern. In 2004, I took over the establishment of the new linear system production department. Today, I am responsible for 21 employees and 18 machines as a team leader.
What is your area of responsibility?
My tasks are roughly divided into two areas: the first is working on and with the machine, the second concerns more classic departmental tasks like team leadership, planning and organisational work.
What does WEISS offer its employees?
At WEISS, employees are valued and treated very responsibly. This includes, for example, good social benefits, fair and punctual pay as well as bonuses. In addition, WEISS helps is employees to advance with machine training and other further training opportunities.
What do you look forward to when you go to work in the morning?
Most of all I look forward to new challenges on my journey to work. I get a buzz from being constantly faced with new tasks and finding and demonstrating new approaches to them. My motto is: There is no such word as can't. I am firmly convinced of this, because from experience I know that every problem has a solution.
